Michael Cogar was born on December 4th, 1984 in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated high school in 2003 from Wichita Falls High School and joined the Army shortly after graduation. During his time in the Army, he served five years as a Combat Engineer. In 2008 Michael retired from the Army as a Sergeant with a distinguished record including two tours of combat in Iraq. In 2009 he enrolled at Old Dominion University where we is currently studying Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace. While with the College Republicans Michael was appointed to Internship Coordinator for ODU CRs in August 2010, appointed to Eastern Regional Director for the CRFV in March 2011 and later elected to ODU CR Chairman in April 2011.
University of Virginia
Rory Stolzenberg, originally from Long Island, New York, is a third year at the University of Virginia where he is currently studying Economics and Government . He joined the UVA College Republicans his first year, and was elected Vice Chair of Campaigns in December 2010, then re-elected for the 2011-2012 school year the following April. He became the Fifth District College Republican Representative in 2010, and then was appointed CRFV Political Director for the 2011 election cycle, when Republicans regained control of the State Senate. He is also co-founder and president of the Virginia Aviation Club, and is Treasurer of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.
Amanda Red Kranz
Tucker was born September 21, 1991 in Harrisonburg, VA. She graduated from Harrisonburg High School in 2009 and didn’t stray far from home, she is a junior at James Madison University where she is currently studying International Affairs and Spanish. She joined the JMU CR’s during her sophomore year, and in November 2011 she was elected First Vice Chairman of the club. She has been involved with countless campaigns during her life, but most recently Tucker was involved in the Bryan Hutcheson for Sheriff campaign in Harrisonburg/Rockingham County.
